Default 400ex replacement tires

I've got stock tires on right now and I will be needing to replace them pretty soon. I was looking at Maxxis and Holeshot tires....which ones do you prefer?

Depends entirely on the conditions in which you ride! Tell us more.........

I ride desert, and have tried a few different tires over the years. I keep coming back to Holeshot XC's. I am however thinking of maybe trying iRazrs next time???

For trails i think the razrs will be a better choice cause the rubber is a little stiffer and they bite a litttle better in the trails. The holeshots are better for softer, looser terrain

The Maxis and ITP tires are the most popular tires for a reason. They are both excellent. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I ride wooded trails (southern West Virginia). Some rutted out trails, some steep hills, some mudholes- slight and otherwise. Am considering going to '22 razors in the back.....what's your opinion?

Just my opinion but i think holeshots would be alot better for trails that have alot of rocks, mud, and loose terrain, if it was all hard pack id go with Maxxis.

Razr2s are great tires. With a 22", you will have a lot more clearance and be amazed at what you can get through in terms of snow and mud.

I just put Razr2's on the rear and love them.
