I'm looking at which winch mount application to use on a Rubicon. The dealer suggested using a bolt on bumper system, front and rear, so the winch can be moved from front to rear as required. This works similar to a hitch that would slide onto the receiving hitch on your 1/2 ton truck. The dealer has used the system several times on the 450; however the front end of the Rubicon is different than the 450 and it doesn't look to me like a bumper would bolt on to it. We don't receive the Rubicon's up here until mid December, thus this was merely a suggestion by the dealer. He doesn't know if it will work yet. The idea is to mount the winch on the bumper instead of under the radiator to discourage mud build-up. Has anyone tried to mount a bumper system onto the Rubicon?

Been looking, but haven't found one yet.

Call Warn, I believe they have one, now.
|
Warn does have a regular winch mount now from what I understand, but do they have a multi-mount like described above for it?
|
Yep, Warn has a winch mount. I was referring to the bumper. I haven't seen one for the Rubi yet.
