Rubicon Winch Mount options
#1
I'm looking at which winch mount application to use on a Rubicon. The dealer suggested using a bolt on bumper system, front and rear, so the winch can be moved from front to rear as required. This works similar to a hitch that would slide onto the receiving hitch on your 1/2 ton truck. The dealer has used the system several times on the 450; however the front end of the Rubicon is different than the 450 and it doesn't look to me like a bumper would bolt on to it. We don't receive the Rubicon's up here until mid December, thus this was merely a suggestion by the dealer. He doesn't know if it will work yet. The idea is to mount the winch on the bumper instead of under the radiator to discourage mud build-up. Has anyone tried to mount a bumper system onto the Rubicon?

I have finally received some more information from warn. Here is the scoop.
PN 61019 - $98 US$ - Multi-Mount Kit
PN 61292 - $83.51 US$ - Winch Cradle and wiring
PN 60900 - $ ??? - Same as PN 61292 + 2500 Winch
They sent me the installation instructions for the multi-mount and I have placed them online if anyone wants to have a look at the multi-mount.
