Default 250ex and wheelies

honestly wheelies really dont have anything to do with the machine once you get into the 200cc class and up. if it has the power to pull the frontend up then its all rider ability. i can wheelie a blaster or 250ex just as well as my 400ex which is said to be the Wheelie King of all quads, and i do believe it is. i can get the frontend up in 5th gear with my *** on the seat, there arent many quads you can say that about.
I do phatter woolies on my 450r, then I do on my 400ex.

get drunk the 250 ex is a shaft drive they dont have sprockets. the only thing close to gearing that you can do to it is change the tires as in smaller sizes will make it quicker and bigger than stock sizes will make it have a little more on top but you will lose some acceleration

as for the wheelies. i loved my 250 for riding wheelies. in my oppionion my 250 is easier to wheelie than my freinds blaster and z400. maybe it was cause im use to the 250. i could be coasting in 1st shift into 2nd rev it up and ride it till i was on the rev limiter in 5th. i think that the 250's and 400ex's are the easiest to wheelie on. ive never tried one on my freinds 450 r but i know the r's wheelie like a dream too. i saw a kid last winter ride a wheelie on a hard packed snow covered lake for about a mile on a stock r. i woulda been p!ss!ng my self riding a wheelie on ice

Yeah,i have one and they are the easyest quad to pull a wheelie on.its prolly because the top end is so light.

250ex is a great quad to point skyward.....basically i pulled it up in third with alot of weight near the rear wile standing up and just yankin really hard....once u use up all the gears speed make sure ur at the balance point in the wheelie then shift because it doesnt have the tourque to keep it up unless ur almost 12oclock...peace
