Default NEW MX ATV?

right now i have a 250ex and wheni take it off jumps it sucks so this is why i'am thinking of getting a new atv. i was think either a honda 400ex or the 450r now people have told me that if i get a 450r i will need to rebuild the engine in like 2 years and its a pain in the *** too keep it running it goes through a lot of spark plugs and frequent oil chages i want a bike that will last me a long time meaby like 8 to 10 year is that almost impossible with out rebuilding the engine? now if you tell me to get a 400ex do you think a z400 would be better?

thanks and any information would be helpfull

The 450r is a more of a performance quad a 400ex is more of a trial riding hill climbing quad but the suzuki z400 is a really awsome quad great for jumping and of course the Z is a little faster than a 400ex but slower then the 450r. But also the YFZ450 are mostly the same but the YFZ is lighter and a little faster ,but both are very good quads , but it all dipends were you ride and how hard you ride.

If you ride hard go for the 400ex it is a bulletproof quad it can take alot of stuff to it and very easy to find parts for it.
