Hey Guys! Ive been reading on these forums for a while now and decided to join. I live in northern Indiana and have been riding quads for some time now. I'm currently looking for a new quad to do some fast trail/open field riding, either the honda 450r or predator. Can geteither quad around here for 6k. Glad to be here. thanks

Hey welcome. I'm new here too but thought I'd chime in on this one.
I've known a guy with a 450r and another that looked at both those machines and just this weekend bought a Preditor.
If it were me I'd try to ride both first cause personal preferance is a huge decision maker!

If you go with the Honda buy an '06 with electric start because these things have pretty good compression and it gets old kicking, so much so that the guy I know sold his due to this alone.
I like the Honda but rode a Troy Lee version Polaris with the Fox shock set-up and it is one sweet machine too.

Nobody beats Honda's R & R.... I mean R&D
