Whats the real deal on the 250 EX is it a recon with 300ex plastic or is it a 300ex frame and suspension with e recon motor.Cuz my brother in law just bought a 2001 300ex and compared to my y2k blaster that thing rode like a cadilac .The only problem for me is the price difference (300EX vs Blaster).Thats why I'm interested in this 250 EX if that thing rides like the 300 I'm buying one when they come out .I'm curious are shaft driven quads ok to jump cuz I really like to jump but I'm worried about the expense of repairing a shaft

Speaking of kids...RaPteR316..when's the last time you rode a 250EX?? That's what I thought. By the way...what's a Rapter?? Are they made by the same company who makes the Raptor?? Just curious.

spooge,

Wait till they come up & read the reviews & owner comments. I think it will be a great bike(not a racer, but a great bike). As to the shaft repairs, they would have to be cheap compared to how many times you would have to replace the chain & cogs on a chain drive, versus how often a shaft drive needs repairs & YES it should handle any jumps that the suspension can handle. Good Luck & stay away from the YAMAJUNK!

all I want to know is does this thing have the same frame and suspension as the 300ex or is it a recon with 300ex plastic? The one thing I do know is it has disc brakes up front which is nice because the brakes on my blaster are the most useless pieces of monkey crap I've ever seen.
