I am only 15 and I ride a 400ex. I started off with a Blaster about a year ago. Had that for about 6 months, then moved up the 400ex. If you have that much experience, then you should be fine.

dont forget to take in acount ur size too. To me you seem to have enoguh expirience. But you also need to be strong and the 400ex isnt a small quad but you will grow into it if not big enough yet

Judging by your post, you need to spend some more time in school.

I was 13 on an ATC 250R and I had no problem, I took it easy until you get used to it. When you get used to it then let a rip since you rode a big wheel you should be used to the clutch. But remember wait until you get used to it before you try and kill yourself. The ATC 250R's are a bit more chalenging because they are all light front ended especially the elsinore's

No worries on size. You can handle a 400. Just get used to it. My 250x is feeling quite meager I am getting a 400 in december. O and i'm 14 too.
