A CR500, but not in a quad frame. The CR500's are quite impressive to say the least. One of the moderators here made a custom flywheel that was heavier than stock, which gave it a mellower power band, and he says it is a awesome trail bike now.
I've also seen and raced against some LT500's. I will probably get flamed, but I don't think they are really all they are cracked up to be.
So what year is you RM250? What kind of riding do you do with it?

It's Saturday morning and still no call.
Phone call = money
No phone call = I still have one of the nicest 250Rs around
...looks like I win either way. Like I said, I don't really care to sell it. So Im not going to call him or anything.

The guy called me today. He's coming Wednesday...... Oh well, it's like they say - the greatest part of a project is the actual build-up. Once it's done the fun is over. I built this 250R with my own two hands, I can always make myself another one.

there is plenty of places to get parts.i hate when those 450 pick on my little r! hehe yes ,the 4 strokes are better than before, but me my self i love tring to keep the front end down in 4'th. the motorcycle swap has been done many times before and with out a couter balancer it will vibrate all of the bolts out and a lot of time crack the frame(stock).

Keep the "r" dude,They dont make them like they used to.They wont ever ride and handle like they used to. A 250r or lt250r that is fully restored and still in good shape is also a personalized ride. Its not something off an assembly line anymore. They also will never be as lightweight as they used to. I think its a big mistake and you will eally regret it.
