tex, I haven't owned any of these quads, all I can suggest is to do a search of the forums and read as much as you can on '05 and older models, then determine what changes have been made to the new ones. If there were any problems, I'm sure someone will have talked about it by now. Good luck with your choice!

I am a big guy like you are (6' 3" 235) and I have an 05 Rubicon. I would suggest looking at something in the 500 class. I have ridden a Rancher, Eiger, and Prarie and they all felt small and seemed to not pull my weight as easy as the 500's do. I would look at the Rubicon or Vinson. They are both great quads with ample power to haul big guys around. Just my .02
