yep. do a search this question is asked every week, seems like several times a week. IMO get the Z...i wont tell you why so that you can do a SEARCH.

The Z. It comes with a special frame that falls apart all by itself and coolant that eats fancy motor parts, brought to you by the geniuses at suzuki. LOLZ!

 

I had a KFX 400 for a short time and really liked it a lot. I didn't think I would like it at first as it was not a Honda which I have always prefer but it was a great bike. I beat the snot out of it and never really had many problems...bent rear disc, bent front rim, broke handle bars off...just the regular stuff. The 400 EX was defiantly the quad to have when it first came out but now it's just not worth it in comparison of what you can get from other manufacturers for about the same $.
