450R question

When people talk about putting their own versions of the HRC Kit on their R, they talk about drilling a hole in something.... What are they talking about? and does it make a big improvement? I am not running an air box lid, so if that is what people talk about drilling into, then never mind my post.

there is a 3-way breather T on the right top side of the engine case right behind the header pipe ... Remove this, and look down inside ... You will see a reduction about half way down that is smaller in ID than the rest of the large part of the T,You drill out that retriction so your CC can breath easier
1)drill the CC tee
2)cut the snorkle in the air box
3)Re jet to a 180(+or-)
4)drop in a stage 2 HC
5)drop in a HRC needle
6)pull your baffle
Theres your HRC kit and for about $150 to $170
