400ex stem on a trx250r

Default 400ex stem on a trx250r
is there a difference at all,, i am unsure ,,, but ebays got the goods, so any help would be great ,,like measurements, is a stock ex stem the same size or longer

Default 400ex stem on a trx250r
My buddy crashed his 250r, and bent the stem. I have a stock 400ex stem, and we didn't put it in his. I don't remember what was different, but it did not line up.
