Default which head pipe for my 400ex

i am wondering which head pipe i should get for my 400ex. i already have several mods on my wheeler which my exhaust is a megamax. i was going to stick with fmf head pipes. im just not sure which one i should get. i ride in sand pits and trails mostly. i want more mid range power... out of the fmf high flo header, and the power bomb header, which one is better for these applications?? i dont care about the price difference. just wondering if anyone has used both or one of the two... let me know what you think.

Have you done any internal mods (piston, cam, etc)? Otherwise a new header will not help. In fact you may loose low and mid range power.

I still wouldnt bother without installing a higher compression piston. A cam is good start but, you will not benefit from its potential without the piston. You could also go for a big bore such as a 416 or 440.

To answer your question about the head pipe: I dont think you have any choice other than the head pipe that is designed to fit the slip on pipe you have on it already.
