PLEASE READ!!!/BAD NEWS

As some of you might know I work with law enforcement. Well today we had a bad accident today. Kids making the wrong decisions. I wasn't there so I can't say what they did wrong. I'll just say this. Speed, passengers, and young age can really make for a disaster. Well not really kids high school age. I didn't want to preach to anybody here or I didn't mean to cause bad morale. Just things like this happen and the atv industries are always blamed. I know that one of the kids died. A lot of people think that it won't happen to them. I myself have a life saying that I go by. I wear vests at work but when its your time to go there is no equipment that will save you. Others might not think this way but I do. I was also a veteran of four tours of hostile situations over seas. I have looked at life that when you yourself has made it right with your maker its easier to be more comfortable about things like this. Im sorry if I sounded like I was preaching but just wanted everybody know that just be safe out there. Accidents happen but they happen for a reason. TO LEARN BY AND REMEMBER NEXT TIME!

You should always wear a helmet.
I think they need to pass a basic spelling and gramar law as well.

heres what i say, youv'e got to be smarter than the atv. use your freaken heads, don,t get goofy because you have an audiance. go to the trama unit and check out some of the people that once had a future to live a normal life. but lost it because of something stupid , like no helmet, drinking, acting like an idiot. respect your atv and know your abilities , enjoy it for life, make it a long one

How true it is. I am a Respiratory therapist and have worked on many accident victums over the years. Always sad to see, but worse when it was due to stupidity. It is tough enough on me when we can't save someone let alone the families. Think first and have fun not foolishness.

Every rider of an atv, motorcycle, car, truck or anything that has an internal combustion engine for power should "RESPECT" that machine for what it is and what it can do. The very minute you think you have mastered said machine, it will "turn" on you.
