Default 400EX Header Questions

I have a White Brothers E-Series slip on, and I like it, (even though it is a little louder than others). My question is what power gains and/or benefits do buying aftermarket headers offer, and should i get aftermarket headers? If I do, what other mods should i do, and what one should i get (i guess to go along or fit the E-Series exhaust). would i have to buy 2 headers for the dual exhaust ports, or what?

btw, do they make true dual exhaust for the 400 ex? (im not looking to get one, but just wondering)

Thank you,

mike

Default 400EX Header Questions

I am a firm beliver in the fact that a slip on is mostly for sound and very little HP. There is weight to be saved on an aftermarket can but the header is where the HP is made. I would get an aftermarket filter such as TWIN AIR (for MX), K&N with prefilter (for trail or SAND) and the proper jetting to go along with the aftermarket header! These three things in good working order will wake up a 400 EX. After that an Edlebrock Carb will make it seem like a rocket ship!
