hey all ive got a couple questions for.I have a 00 300ex and ive out grown it and i need and want more power.My dad has a 91 lt 250r motor,i was wondering if its.possible to put it in my 300ex if it is what would i have to do?thanks

you want to put a 250r into a 300 ex frame. ya it's possible but your going to have a alot of figuring out to do. Cause nothing is going to bolt into place. How about getting a hold of a 350x motor that fits into 250x frames which are basily the same.

 

One problem to look at is that the 300EX frame geometry was designed for the power and speed of a 300cc motor. If you put a screaming 2-stroke in there you will have a quad that has minimal suspension, short wheelbase and narrow track but now can go fast enough to get you into trouble. Frame strength is also a concern. IMO it will be cheaper in the long run to just sell the 300EX and buy a good used LT250.

 

Werd unless you wanted to add a lot of extra strength to the frame, new suspension, but it doesn't seem worth it.

 

Will my frame handle a 350x motor and how fast are the 350x motors?I plan on putting new suspiention on my qoud with new a arms also.

for 350x engines. The 350x engine would be heavier then the 250r, but it would be a drop in engine. You could strengthen the frame.

 

How much ***** power does the 350x motor make?Is it faster than a warrior and a 400ex?

 

I would say find a cheap 400ex out there and spend your money on it, evrything else would be alot of work for what you were getting out of it. IMO
