well, over the weekend my cousin and his two friends all came riding with me at our family's sand pit with their brand new trx400ex's. i had a chance to ride it and jump it a bit, and it felt as if this bike was made for me. i currently own a 2003 big bear 400 and it wasn't until i noticed now that i dont really need such a big heavy ute for the type of terrain i ride in. i have about $4000 saved up right now and i should be getting a job this summer so i am thinking about picking up a new or used honda or suzuki 400. i think that i might keep the bb, but then i know it would just be taking up space. it would be nice to have the xtra 2000 for a b.new quad because i need reverse and the looks are kickass. i am 14yo 5'5" and 140lbs and this quad feels perfect. i am graduating from 8th grade, so for a gift i might just want my parents help me buy one since im only 14. anyone who has this bike tell me what you think about it.

Have both. I pick the EX for slow trail rides in more technical conditions. It has a motor that doesn't mind being lugged down. The Z likes to rev more, so I pick it for faster trails and open roads. Both handle great, and I haven't had a problem with either one that wasn't accountable to normal wear and tear. The Z is faster stock, and has WAY more hop up potential when you are ready for more power.

yea i thought a 450 would be nice to have but i think im a little too young to handle that. also my cousin is looking into graphics for his 06 400, but he doesnt know what model to choose them for because he is afraid he might get graphics for the older model 400. what does he choose??

check this place out it's where I bought my quad. And they're really cheap. I drove 3 hours to get there, but I saved a good chunk of change.
