i guess i was more looking at it for riding around in the sand dunes and on the beach, just having some fun. So being a utility im not sure if it would be any good. Do they have much power, or would it just be boring and a waste of time? I thought a 250cc engine was reasonably big so i was hoping it would be alright.

I wonder what acceleration/top speed is like. Im not too fussed on what it looks like really! Maybe i could take those steel racks off it to reduce weight?

yea 250 is fine there not no honda 450r though but i have a 250ex and ive heard of people taking them to the dunes and beach you could always shave the fenders to make it look more sportier then like some razors and a new exhaust and i wouldnt look so bad its a automatic right a im going to bed but I will reply tomorrow to w/e you say

The TRX250 Fourtrax was a utility quad in the mid-late 80's. The 250X and EX are sport quads.
