What is the part # for the '06 HRC Kit. I am trying to look it up at the site you gave. Thanks for the help. Does the kit come with good instructions?

 

I don't know the part number but I'll check the box it came in when I get home (at work now). I looked on a Honda parts finder site and the HRC Kit isn't listed so I just called and ordered the kit. The first person I talked to did have to get someone else to help me though since he had a hard time locating the part number. The kit came with good instructions and a good friend of mine who works on quads did the cam installation and I did the rest. It took us around 3 hours or so to complete the installation.

 

great thanks for the headsup, i can just order it that way, so if you remember to get the part # great... if not no big deal. The cam part is the piece that I have never done before. A little nervous on a brand new quad..... Thanks for the Info.

My valve clearances were actually within spec after I installed the HRC cam. They were tight were tight with the original cam.

 

hey i was looking at the pics of youre new 450, i am considering buying one, how is the acceleration? if you take off, how many gears would you say the front end commes off the ground, or tries to?
