Top end for 400ex
#2
If you want a lot more top end, put on a bigger front sprocket, and a smaller back sprocket. It is very hard to explain why, but the best way, is go look at a multi-speed bicycle. when you are in first gear, your front sprocket is the small one, and the back sprocket is the big one. And if youve ever ridden a bike like that, you know no matter how hard you pedal, you dont go fast, but that would be your "wheelie" gear. Now, say you move up to the highest gear, for example, mine is 21. When I am in 21st gear, i have to pedal really hard to take off, (keep in mind if you gear your quad hi like this, you wont be able to do wheelies worht &^%$) But your top end is the highest it could be. Hope I helped, if you need a better explaination, ask, ill check back.
