#1
does anyone have any pictures that show a 2005 or 2006 Honda Rubicon with a Warn winch mounted? I am having problem mounting my winch cause there are some support bars in the way. It's like it have the wrong mounting kit but the bag says it isn't. can anyone help?

I have mounted a couple winches on this unit and if I remember right, it was close but would fit. I only have experience w/ Moose mount plates, I'm not sure what kind you are using. W/ the Moose plate, the winch will be on top of the plate w/ the cable posts to the right side of the atv.

My winch does mount on top but it seems like it is wrong. The mounting plate mounts right in there with no problems but as soon i put the winch on there it hits the bar and hits the cooler in front of the radiator. In suggestions?

I have a 05 Rubicon with a Warn 2500 mounted with the Warn mounting plate according to the instructions provided. It fit just fine. Is there any particular angle of picture that would be helpful? I can go out to the garage and snap a few.

Thanks for all the pointers! I did finally get it after talking with customer service and others. I ended up only using half of the boughten mounting plate and the plate that the winch comes with. That's where i got confused. It looks and works great now.

I had problems with my winch plate as well I bought a warn winch from my dealer and they sold me a cycle country plate and the plate was only for a warn 2000 and 2500. So I called cycle country and they told me that the warn 3000 wont fit on a 2005 rubicon I was pist I thought I was going to have to get a all new winch so I called warn and they told me they sell a plate just for the 2005-2006 rubicon for the warn 3000 it sits ontop the bars insted of below like the mount for the 2000 and the 2500 that cycle country sells. But I am glad I could use the warn 3000 because I had it already I just wanted to use it on my new rubicon it works great I have puled a lot of atvs out of the river in my area.
