Weird cr125 problem...

Default Weird cr125 problem...

Ok..w ell i kno its s dirt bike but u honda people kno ur stuff and i kno u can help!
basically it wont start. It has a new plug. new gas mix 38:1. It starts on a bump start from 2nd gear down a hill.. but when riding it has like no power.. very very weak powerband.. almost as if i dont hit it at all.
BAsically its weak power when it does get started, which is once by bump starting. It wont start on kicks. Any Ideas

Default Weird cr125 problem...

Reed valves could be wore out, take them out and flip them around. Or the bike needs a new top end...

WIthout more information, I'm going with option number 2 (New top end)...---> Read: Extremely Low Compression

sounds like timing may be off or if its an older bike the reed valves may need replaced or maybe just valves adjusted as i said
