I posted a message for some help last week with my brand new Honda Rincon as follows

************I am new to this site and was hoping someone here could help me. I just bought a new Honda Rincon and took it out yesterday for the first time. It rode awesome for most of the day but toward the end of the day, I went through a creek and up a couple really steep hills. After a hill I climbed, my quad suddenly quit. I restarted it but when I tried to give it gas, the EFI (Fuel Injection) light came on and it was stall out again. I was able to idle it at about 4 mph but if I tried to put any more load on it then that, it would stall and quit on me again. At one point, I could not even get the display to light up to start it but eventually that started working again..... Anyway, it sounds to me like it may be electrical. Has anyone got any ideas what I can check. I only have about 3 hours on the machine so far and I can't get it in anywhere for service for at least a month.........Thanks************

Bbryan05 and ForemanDan advised me to check the battery connection. However, I had my doubts thats what the problem was so I called the dealer and they had my check all kinds of connectors. Finally, after about 3 hours I checked the battery adn sure enough, the connection was loose. I tightened it up, tried it and it worked awesome....... I should have never doubted you two. You are my heros now. I have my quad back and don't have to wait a month and a half for servicing. You guys rock and I want to let you know how much I appreciate your willingness to help me. b]THANK YOU BOTH VERY MUCH!!![/b]
