Does anyone with a properly tuned 400ex know if it is just able to roll all by itself in 1st gear without hitting the gas at all, all by itslef on a completely flat surface? Mine rolls in 1st 2nd and 3rd without hitting any gas at all before it stallls.
Also if I let the clutch out super-ultra-mega slow, without touching the throttle, it can just start rolling on its own<< only if its on a flat surface though. My buddy says its not supposed to and something is wrong but I think its cuz im a 140lb lightweight.

 

That's normal. You're fine. The 400ex has alot of lowend grunt, so it'll just putt along like that.

 

yes that fine mine does the same thing

 

typical for me too. i know my friend got his pred to idle along in 3rd/4th from a rolling start

 

my 400 does the same as well

 

and unless the quad is overloaded (more then 240lbs or your towing something) pretty much any manual-drive quad will do this.

(also noticed this...6 red 400ex's in a row)
