400EX Tire Question?
I have been told that a Maxxis Razr 20x11-9 will fit on the stock wheel of a 2001 400EX. Which is a 10 inch wheel. Ive been told they will overhang just a little and this is not a problem. I'm not going to put these tires on and have them fall off when I'm riding am I?

400EX Tire Question?
Head out to the garage and take a look. The size is stamped right on the rim. The stock rear rims are 9X8" (9" high and 8" wide). Front is 10X5.5".
These will fit the Razr's, but they are narrow and give the tire kind of a rounded profile. A better rear rim choice would be ITP T-9 rim, which are 9X9" and have a 3+6" offset. This will make your quad +3" wider for a nice increase in stability, yet it won't be so wide that it can't be trail ridden.
Replace the front rims as well with ITP's, and you will be +2-3" up there too.
Spend the extra money for new rims, it's worth it!
