I had my 99 Big Bear up to the racks with no ill affects. Had my 2000 Kodiak just over the floorboards. Six hours later, I got it to run.

I've been very deep on several occasions(I had snorkels). Go here to look: http://briefcase.yahoo.com/swampthang2003 look at the pond riding pics. In that pond, I couldnt see my front rack it got so deep. My friend took the pictures from his boat!

I've had my foreman 400 in water deeper then the front rack with the exhaust under water. No modifications other then a UNI air filter and the engine wide open in 2nd gear. I didnt get a drop of water in the airbox . It's kinda cool when your headlights are under water and they still work.

I have rolled my TRX 300 4x4 completly over. But thats not all. Five seconds later my brother rolled a Recon over 50 yards upstreem. He was surprise when he saw where i was. I gess he thought I was going to pull him out. No chance there. I am still waiting for the picts.

I always ride in water that is up to the seat. Sometimes when it is past the racks, no problems. my good friend has had water over the handlebars without dieing it out. And that is stock.
