Default 300ex regearing problems-case saver

I planned out my tire circumference decrease, and compensated with a 14 tooth sprocket in front instead of a 13 tooth. It works beautifully (speed wise) except for now my case saver doesn't fit. I have a few options: Make my own, or take some meat off the old one. The more I look at it, the less feasible the latter option seems. I KNOW other people had to have done this, and I need their help. Can you buy other ones? Do people eliminate the case saver? Should I put a sock in my piehole and start fabbing up my own? Help! Thanks!

Somebody has to make a larger one. What one are you running now?

I had the stock 13T on the front with the stock case saver. Now with the new gear diameter, the saver won't fit.

I ground mine down, just a little. It will fit better if you leave the saver in place, then roll the chain over the sprocket.
I figured gringing it down, was better thaan nothing at all. It was in 97, but I couldn't find an aftermarket one anywhere.
