i have a banshee with fmf pipes, k&n pro flow, boyseen reeds, and boost bottle and a guy on a supposedly stock 400ex wants to drag race me on the road. the guy on the 400ex says he can beat me on the top end and i just want to know what you people think and what the outcome will be. i asked this question on the yamaha board and i just wanted to know what the honda board thought. thanks...

 

Top end? no way. I'm not real sure about the rest but he will def. not beat you in top end. He may also get a better start off. But I have never seen a 400EXvs. Banshee drag so.. don't take my word for it

 

unless your running on one cylinder he stands no chance

 

You will beat him top end unless his 400 isnt stock. Check his front sprocket, if it is 16 or higher, it isn't stock, and he could beat you then. Changing your sprockets makes alot of difference

 

i own a ex and im honda all the way, i read in a magazine that the top speed was 61 mph the ex will probably get a better start then after that you should take him. But thin again i raced a banshhe and he said his was bone stock and he had a big bore kit on it.

i know i can beat the 400ex, but this guy swears he can beat me. he even had some friends come over yesterday to get me over there. i would be there today but its rained all day. i can't wait to race him.
