When idling in first gear, my rancher es tends to try to creep forward every few seconds. It's like its on the verge on going forward but not quite. Is my idle out of adjustment? If so, how do you adjust it, and where is it? Thanks...

My Rancher used to inch ahead a bit at idle in gear to and I adjusted my idle down a bit and now it is fine. The idle adjustment screw is right on the bottom of the carb, and has a plastic **** so you won't need a screwdriver. You might also want to check you clutch adjustment.

I encountered the same thing. Adjust you idle down a little.
