Not any more or not enough to matter. To get more HP you need along with your K & N is to rejet your carb and add a slip on exhaust. Remember more air in along with more gas and more air out will add HP. I repalced the stock main jet with a 112. It makes all the difference in the world and sounds like a race car. Just adding a k& n could actualy hurt your enigne cause more air will make it run lean and that's not good. Dont get a jet kit there junk. Just go to the parts counted and get a 110 or 112 main and do a search on the net about rejetting and read and you will be able to do it under a hour. Also these quads come from the factor LEAN just to meet EPA standards so putting a high flow k&n will make it even more leaner which cou;ld burn up your engine. Filter, rejet, slip on exhaust will make a awesome quad. Those 06 are on sweet looking quad and the engine is as dependable as they come. Just change the oil regularly and it will last forever and then some!

I hear the dial a jet is a great product, allowing you to try different settings by turning a dial.
