Depends on what kind of riding you do, and if you value your knuckles and hands.

 

i like mine, they seem very durable and stay put. You can even take part of it off to make it vented for more air flow, etc.

I have the ski-doo yellow to match my rancher, and it ALMOST matches perfectly, up close you can see the guards are a little darker than the yellow plastic of the machine but at first glance it looks perfect.
