The recons never changed there design inbetween the years 2000 and 2004 did they. I dont think they did. This tail light the guy says it wont fit the 2004. the 98 recon i had was the EXACT same thing. Here is the link to the tail light.

I dont know if it will fit or not, but I bought a new lens for my rancher at my local dealer. I'm pretty sure it was cheaper than the price for that one on ebay. You may want to try the dealer first. I've found the ebay price higher at times and lower at times.

i might stop in at the honda dealer and see what they are asking for a tail light. By the way... u think they will have somthin like that in stock???

 

The rancher I have is an 02 and they had it in stock. The lens was broken and the door for the tool box was messed up to from an accident with a trailer. I think the lens was in the low teens and the tool box door was in the low twenties. The local dealer had both in stock. They're a decent size dealer.

i should have went through that website b/ i ordered it today from the honda dealer and it was $26. my box lid is cracked also. The crack is only about 1"-1.5". if it speads i might check them out. Thanks for the help!
