Default 2007 Rubicon or Rincon " Help"

Guy's Help me. I am trying to make up my mind on whether to buy a rincon or a rubicon. I have owned two rubicons in the past and must say that I was impressed with both, absolutely no problems ever with either. My friends are trying to convince me to buy a rincon this time, there is only $300 between the too. I am afraid the rincon won't have enough grunt to plow snow or pull a few stumps. Will the trany hold up on the rincon? Please give your thoughts. Thanks

The Rubicon is must better suited to pulling stumps and plowing heavy snow. I mean I have pulled stumps and plowed snow with my Rinny and it worked great but I don't do it often. If I primarily needed a workhorse, I would've gotten the Rubicon.

If you have owned 2 and loved them, the new ones are probably only better, stick with them. Especially if you can get the Canadian Trail Edition Rubicon (CTE), if they have that for 2007.

Good Luck!

I would say rubicon for work and some play, Rinny for play and some work. Depends on what you are going to be doing more of. I love my Rinny but then I like to play alot.

The thing to consider with the Rubicon is its ability to control vehicle speed almost totally with the throttle and gear selection. This assett is very useful when riding or working on steep ground. My friend has found the Rincon (2005) challenging when he rides the trails I ride, below a certain speed he "freewheels" and has to rely totally on the brakes for vehicle control.....Tass

The new Rubicon CTE's are very good for play too!.......the new suspension combined with the SRA can be very fun. There's no doubt a Rinny is a heck of a machine, but depending on your exact application the Rube is more well- rounded. You can work them like an OX day in and day out....and they are now quite comfortable to trail ride and play on for long periods of time.
