I cant figure out how to tighten the chain on my 400ex...it reaLLY needs to be done today so i can ride it ! thanks

 

loosen the (4) allen bolts at the rear of the carrier assembly. Grab a large screwdriver (sloted) and insert into the concentric adjusting assembly (directly to the right of the drive sprocket) and slowly turn the concentric assembly clockwise. Your chain will tighten as you move this concentric assembly. Once your chain is tight, re-tighten the (4) allen bolts.

Don't forget that your chain should be adjusted tight with your body weight on the machine.
