Note folks, that the whole Rancher lineup is MISSING FROM HONDA'S LIST OF 07 MODELS! Historically, that means big changes for 07! Can't wait to see what they have done..........
An 00 in the garage, and I need to get another one this fall after we see the 07's. The southwest deserts are best suited for sport quad riding, so the Rancher only gets used when we ride in the mountains. It sees most of its action at altitudes above 10,000'.

Looks to me like you are just an immature little kid who can't logically discuss any topic that is any more complex than something like "which is faster" type of posts.
Not quiet sure what your "nobody cares" comment was all about, but the fact is that the current Ranchers will be obsolete shortly, and hopefully Honda will replace them with something that is an improvement (maybe way more sporty???). Don't you think that would be of interest to everybody????

Rancher was the perfect little utility quad, it shouldent be sporty. if you want to have a sprty ride get a sport quad.......

I think you are going to find that the trend in the market will be toward sportier utilities, and even further toward hyrid sport 4X4 machines (like the Renegade and Wolverine). Now, both the Renegade and Wolverine are a step in the right direction, but still fall far short of any ideal.
I think a few years from now, a pure utility will be a pretty rare thing with a limited market, only purchased by those needing a "work" quad, and everybody else will be on far more sporty 4X4 machines..........
The future looks good!
