Default Pressure wash

This may sound like a silly question but I was wondering if it is OK to pressure wash your bike? I have a black 05 rincon and everytime I use the pressure washer it blows off my clear coat and decals. It is really pissing me off because its almost new and its starting to look like its 10 years old. I have friends that say they pressure spray their bikes and don't seem to have this problem.

They say right in my Polaris manual NOT to pressure wash the bike. Not only does it do what you said but it also can damage the cooling fins on the RAD. Some pressure washers you can turn down the pressure so it not so powerfull .........caper

I have a small electric pressure washer that I use on my eiger, but it is turned down all the way and only use it of the under carrage and am real careful not to get the oil cooler. I only use it if I was mudding other than that I just use the garden hose, soap and water.

I pressure wash mine all the time, you just have to stand back a little farther, and pay attention to what you are doing.

So, when I'm done washing it, what do you use to polish it??? I intentionally removed the flame stickers from the fenders of my 05 Scrammy and still have some residue in places. I also wanted to even out the difference of shine on the fender from where the stickers were and were not.

I use plain old Armor all. Look at my last pic, it was cleaned at the car wash, then armor all.
