Ok I didn't get much help in the 3 wheeler forum so maybe here will be better.....

I'm building a 480R ATC using a cr480r engine and putting it into my old air cooled 84 250r chassis. I am trying to figure out how to customize the kick starter. Because of the wider ATC frame the kick starter shaft doesn't stick out far enough, it'll kick right into the frame(backward kick instead of foward). Any idea's?

you may have to cut the rear fender and maybe relocate part of the frame in the back. or position the motor a little forward ? how about using a kick arm from another bike and heat up and bend to were it works

I think you should have picked an engine with electric start, like a big snowmobile twin
