well someone bent the shift shaft on my buddies 05 400ex. i was wondering if anyone had a owners manual and would help me out. can you just take the clutch cover off and get it out that way, or do you have to do what im thinking, split the cases? any help would be greatly appreciated

You do have to split the cases but its easy to change once you get that far. If you can do your topend you can change the shift shaft.
