Default Oil Change

Oil Change screen came on so I drained the oil and surprised that I only got 300 ml of oil. It has only driven 1230 km since last change was 200 km. Hear tranny tranmission is noisy grind. Decide to change oil and got 300 ml. Put new oil filter and new oil (Honda GN4 10 x 40) 4.6 litre as instruct by manual. Then try start engine, the tranny transmission noisy went away, should I worry as to why tranny noisy and I get 300 ml oil or was something do with GN4 Honda Oil?

Maybe engine overheat due to mud in raditor as when I take piece off, there is mud go into raditor. So I wash raditor clean. Could be engine overheat that vapor oil quickly. But I thought oil warning light should come on but it didn't. Anyone has oil warning light come on before. I am little worry on my Honda. No metal cip when I drain oil out.

Oil does not evaporate. It burns or leaks. If you only had that little oil in motor I would worry. Do oil change and keep an eye on level before you ride. I check oil level everytime before I ride anyway.

if it was grinding at all before your change... look through your oil -- drop a magnet in an fish it around. Honda's don't usually grind b/c they are all one assembly, one oil bath.

the rubicon holds a lot of oil so its probably okay.. but don't expect 5000 hours out of it.

I make mistake today. I talk a guy who has Honda Foreman regard of 300 ml oil. Told me there has 2 plugs in that machine. Ran to home and recheck my manual book and sure enough it show 2 plugs and 1 oil filter plug to drain all of oil. So I drain all oil into 2 ice cream pails and last one plug pour to oil pan which is not use for reuse. 2 pail of ice cream are full mean 8.9 L oil are in my engine. I learn hard way. Then meausre the oil and pour back for now till I get new oil. Told a guy about this he laugh. Thanks for help. I will watch for any seal leak. Somehow manual book I read is not clear to me. So stupid I make yesterday. I hear my quad and it quiet, no make noisy today.

well thats good to hear but sometimes when using certain oils the tranny will have troubles shifting and once people change their oil it will fix the problem.
