Ihave a 2001 300ex. I want new chain and sprockets 4 it. I have 20 inch razro tires, and it changed my gearing and i dont like it. How many tooth front sprocet do i need 2 bring it back to normal???? Also what size chain is it?? i was looking at chains and they say all kinds of different sizes, idk wut size 2 get. Any help is appreciated.

 

well its gonna be really hard to get u back to tha stock grearin feel.... but i run a 14 tooth on the front and a 38 on the rear.. what are u looing for? more top end? or what? i love this gearing and i run 20in tires i am not sure but i think my chain is a 520? mabe its an Rk chain... i like it alot! but DO not get an O ring chain they suck and go out fast and they like to kink up if u dont oil them alot.. u shouldnt have this problem a chain like mine

 

its like my gears r shorter, my engine revs out quicker, i want my gears longer. Cuz iu lost some top end whick means i cant go as fast

 

You would need a bigger front sprocket or a smaller rear sprocket.

 

well then u want the set up i have 14 tooth on the front should do u fine! i love mine so try that and if u still want more topend then you can go down a tooth on your rear but i would try the 14/38 grearing first.. hope this helps
