2006 Honda Rincon... Please Help!
#1
Hi guys! I'm a brand new member and I was just wondering if I could get some suggestions from you since I know nothing about ATVs except how to ride them, and I'm the biggest riding freak in the world. Anyway, I am buying a 2006 Honda Rincon next week. I am already planning on slapping it with a Warn 4000 pound winch and 27" ITP Mud Lite XTR's with 14" wheels. I was just wondering if there is any other "must have" accessories and extras to put on it or things I need to get adjusted on the ATV itself for better riding. Please help. Thanks!

with those wheels and tires, same as mine, you will get a little tire rub when you cut the wheels hard. You can remedy this with an aftermarket bracket I found on ebay. You remove the factory footrest braces and replace them with the new ones.Makes the bend in the corner of the wheel wells 90degree.I got the same machine and it is great.I wont put a winch on because I dont think it will hold up under mud and water.I am gonna make a reciever to put the winch on and off as I need it.

You will love that Rincon. But becareful with them 27s. You will lose alot of power and steering effort will increase. A buddy of mine put 27s on his and has swapped them back to stock sizes for the reasons listed.

Yes, I did swap back. Why do you want to put a 4.0 winch on it? They are not made for atvs. Only for UTVs.( side-by-side). If you really needed that much pulling force, it would most likely rip your frame apart. The Warn 3.0 is more than you will ever need and is fully sealed and has a lifetime warranty. The Ramsey 3.0 would be a little cheaper.
How much did you give for the Rincon? Dont pay MSRP. I only gave $6750 for mine.
