it wont help ur performance in a great deal for what u would pay for a new air filter....the best thing a new filter would do is make the quad sound cooler...

I put a UNI on my 2005, no difference.

If you want power gains, you need to start with a pipe/jetting/air filter combo. The 350's are corked up pretty good from the factory. A pipe and jet kit get's the engine to breathe a little better, I've heard noticable differences can be expected if set up properly.

An aftermarket air filter will help a little. But you won't feel the power. One thing you can do to that Rancher is clip the carb spring. This is FREE and makes a very noticeable difference. All you do is remove the 4 screws from the top of the carb. Becareful they strip easily. Remove slowly and remove the spring. Count off 11-12 coils counting the bunched up ends as one and cut. Reinstall the longer piece and the cap and 4 screws. This really only takes a couple of minutes and is FREE and works. This doesn't give you anymore power but will really improve throttle response. You will probably be able to wheelie after this simple mod. It will not hurt anything at all. Everybody who does this can't believe the difference.
