How to get more out of Rincon engine
a buddy of mine has a 650 Rincon and was wondering what he can do to get more out of the engine. Apparently they dont make an aftermarket CDI box for that bike? does anyone know of any goodies that would bring it to life, he says he's tired of getting beat by a King Quad that he rides with.

the usual stuff, hi flow air filter, exhaust, rejet, cam, big bore kits, and hey, there is always nitrous, right.
Big Bore kits: http://www.turnercycles.com/4x4s.html ( I have no experience with these or Turner cycles)
The way I hear it, there is a CDI box in preproduction and it is bad a$$. Is the profit margin large enough so that it will ever be released, who knows. Have your friend send an email to Dynatek asking about a CDI box and see what they say. The more emails they get the more likely they will take action.
Good Luck!

It'll take everything BBryan said to beat that King in a topend race. The Rincon will hit the rev limiter around 65. But with some simple mods you might be able to at least beat him in a drag race. I haven't had the opportunity to race one myself yet. But I understand their fairly quick. The pipe and filter will really wake up that Rincon. The HMF pipe and K-N filter along with a 52 pilot jet and depending on your location somewhere around a 158 Main jet. And that thing will come to life. I'm 220lbs and can sit on the gas tank and wheelie it.

You will dramaticly increase throttle response be cutting the carb spring by about 11-12 coils. The carb runs off of vacuum and the spring prevents it from opening quicker. Cutting the spring puts less tension on the diaphram thus making throttle response alot quicker. It in no way will harm the 4 wheeler. It acts like a whole different quad doing this. If you can wheelie now wait till you cut the spring. It will stand straight up.
