what is the top speed of the honda recon?

 

45 MPH plus or minus 1 or 2 .

 

around Christmas time post this again and I will give you the real top speed of it.....I will have my gps then I think it goes about 45 though without knowing positively...thats what everyone says so it prob. does about 45 but I will know for sure after Christmas day...

Top speed 44.6 gps. Would go a little faster i just ran out of room.

 

Just remember that GPS isn't perfect. Twice after riding all day in the woods it has stated that my top speed was over 60 MPH(and yes I reset the top speed and trip distance before every ride so it was not how fast I was going in the truck on the way to ride). For top speed measurments GPS works best by going over the same straight open area several times to allow for abnormal readings.

 

The top speed is somewhere between 44-46 mph. The Recon accelerates very well for a 229cc motor.

The Recon's not the fastest but it sure is fun to ride.

 

My car says 45, I have heard 49. But i have a lazer timing device that is made to run snowmobiles through. That will give me the information that i want. it measures 1/8 mile speed and time.

 

MINE WILL GO 48MPH

 

I like the winch alot. It works fine if you follow the instructions. I highly recommend a roller fairlead.
