If I were to add more airflow to my bike , such as cutting slits in the airbox lid.Would I have to rejet it , it is jetted to rich from stock any how.

 

I had a '99 Recon. The hole at the end of the air intake snorkle was only the size of a quarter. I made the hole larger and it ran rotten (needed re-jetted. The Recon runs fairly lean from the factory, which is why it is so cold natured. Any type of mod to airbox will require jetting work.
