Not very much because you did not change the stroke. You may only get about 1-2 hp gain by going to a larger size. The stroke and head work is where the most hp gains will be at.

So a 2 hp gain(7.4%) is not enough gain for you?
I have a stroked 400ex. Is gained a ton of torque, but my horse power isn't that great.
I put a higher compresion piston in a 450R, and it helped alot. The difference between $800 ans $125 is substantual, when looking for a little more power.

When you are looking at 30+ hp no 2hp gain is not much. Higher compression will give more torque but you need to change the stroke to get the advantage of hp gains. If just changing a piston would gain noticeable hp everyone would be doing it.

I know you can add power by adding bolt ons, head work and stroker kit but just adding a piston will not give you much gains without doing motor work. I was useing 30hp as just a number. Not actual!
