Default 450r valve adjustment

I have an 04 450r. I have checked the valves a few times and they are holding. I don't think it is that big of a deal unless you are Timm Farr or Joe Byrd.

dude its the same as the 06, you gotta pull the cam to do the valves, they should be checked every 20 hours of riding, since the valves are titanium you gotta check them often they like to get sucked into the head, run honda hp4m with molly 20w50 and 80 w 85 trans oil change every other ride or until it starts to get black. witch happens pretty quick since each side only take .7 of a quart of oil. just get a 06 service manual honda didnt change anything except the color of the frame, some weight and the graphics. if you have any questions email me Cooper450@aol.com

Wanting to get a 450 trying to find as much info as I can.How long does it take to adjust the valves is that something that I would be able to do myself or does it have to go to a dealer?

It doesn't look too hard and I head its pretty easy so it shouldn't take long thats what I have heard but it's better then taking it to a dealer definatly go with the honda 450r I liked that 1st suzuki 2nd and yfz 3rd ergonomics wise and I love it so far check out my pics.
