Got to say that my 7 year old 400EX is the finest machine I have ever owned! Dead solid reliable. Not a powerhouse, but it gets the job done. Tied with the 300EX for best trail quad of all time.

i definetly love my 01 400ex!!!! i dropped th front sprocket a tooth and added a magnum rev box and it is now a rocket with even btter wheelie capability. it hill shoots awsome and runs with my buddies raptor660, and beats it alot. it is very light and manueverable and has great handling. hope that helps.
