Default Why the balooney tires????

Tires can make or break a machine! Why does Honda insist on still putting 80's style balooney tires on the 250EX and 300EX???? These tires make both of the quads a little tippy, and both "push" (understear) a bit in turns.

Running ITP TrakStar radials on T9 rims (makes it +2" wider than stock) on our 250's, and it transforms it into a whole new machine!

I think it's rediculous as well, I think those are the only sport machines that still get them. With the updated 300ex, I was sure they would have put radials on it, but nope!

I would think because they get better traction on a soft surface and a softer ride than tires with stiffer sidewalls.

I hear ya scoot, I love my quad but they even make it hard to upgrade. Buying aftermarket pars for a Honda Ute is almost impossible. Almost makes me wanna go out and get a rennagade
